Our rivers tend toward slow, muddy, and silent, but in the Texas hill country, you sometimes can experience rivers like the one you’ve shown. As a matter of fact, this three-hour loop of river sounds is what I put on when I’m working at the computer. Without music or lyrics to distract, it’s the perfect accompaniment to thinking and writing!

Whenever I can I sit by the river. Sometimes just to feel the warmth and healing of nature and sometimes to write. It definitely inspires!
