Five Generations

I have said many times how blessed I was in my childhood. And I was. But I have been blessed my entire life. That doesn’t mean I haven’t had trials and sorrows to endure, because I have.
But in good times or in bad, I have had family that have loved me and been there for me.

I was lucky enough to know and love four generations of my father’s side of the family.

This picture however is a five generation picture on my husband’s side of the family. Susan and Herb are my husband‘s parents and Susan is holding their first great-great grandchild. Herb turned 100 last April, and Susan will be 96 in just a few days. I might add that Susan and Herb are still living independently on the ranch where Herb was born.

Not very many people are lucky enough to have a five generation picture of their family.

Yes, I am blessed! And little Coburn is doubly blessed as he was also able to have a five generation picture with his Great Grandma Young’s side of the family!
