A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

Feb. 1908

It amazes me, this thing we call a photograph.  It can freeze a moment in time, to be revisited over a hundred years later, and you can still feel the emotion and love as if you were there now.

This is a photo of my Great Grandfather, George Craig, taken in 1908, holding his two month old son, Ed Craig; my paternal grandfather.

This is a picture of the love of a father for his son, but it is more than that.  It is a picture of love that would touch many, many lives.  The gentleness, caring, and sincere  honesty you see in this picture, is what I felt from these two men who I loved so much.  A picture is worth a thousand words…and many years of memories.
